This unique design is part of a new series of pieces created from vintage cookie, candy and tea tins I’ve sourced from over my nearly two decades of creating Tangleweeds. This design, and all of the designs that are a part of my Dance in the Dark Collection, are inspired by slowing down, finding your inner wisdom and voice, and embracing the unknown. There is no script for this life - you get to write your own. These designs embrace that energy and my hope is that you feel your own inner strength when you adorn yourself with one of these unique pieces.

This piece embodies the calm energy of time spent in a beautiful garden, butterflies flitting about, the warm breeze rustling your hair. I cut out this central dogwood flower piece from a garden club tin from Georgia, circa the 1960s. It was then riveted to a recycled brass piece, also carefully cut out by hand. This piece was a true labor of love, each component of the design carefully considered. The stones in this design include malachite, chrysoprase, moonstone, green strawberry quartz, yellow opal, cats eye, peridot, labradorite, lemon quartz, and lemon jade. A hand curated mix of glass, clay and brass beads add to the mix. Finished off with a hand-stamped clasp component and adjustable length brass chain at the back. This necklace can be worn any length from 16-21” long. A completely one of a kind design.
